Job brief
- The candidate must lead a team to reach the goal and run the projects successfully for both
industrial and academic projects
- The candidate is expected to make creative project plans for each project that will be executed
upon his/her supervision.
- The candidate should be proactive in troubleshooting problems that might arise during an
experiment
Core Skills Required
• In depth knowledge and skill set pertaining to Molecular biology, genetic engineering, protein
expression and purification is mandatory
- Brief knowledge/experience of protein biochemistry and analytical techniques is an added
advantage
- Sound knowledge in biocatalysis is preferred
- Operational knowledge of fermentors and homogenisers
- Should be able to teach and train his/her team in all the above-mentioned aspects as and when
required
- Should have valuable scientific writing skills and should be able to write scientific research articles that
can be communicated to high impact factor journals
- Should be able to do extensive literature search and improvise the existing techniques to get better
results
- Strong team spirit and commitment to positive growth of all team members
- Able to function independently and in cooperation with the team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills
