Responsible for creating and reviewing 3D models, detailed drawings, and design documents for transmission line fittings and related engineering components. Should have solid expertise in Autodesk Inventor.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Support product design, reverse engineering, and prototype development.
- Ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Review existing designs and implement improvements for performance and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D; teams for design clarifications and technical support.
- Create BOMs, material specifications, and design documentation.
- Provide technical support during customer discussions and internal reviews.
- Assist in design validation, testing support, and change management.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- - Strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Inventor.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, machining, forging, fabrication).
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering standards.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert them into design outputs.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience:
- - B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
