Job Description: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Qualifications

Education: MBBS degree from a recognized institution; valid registration with Delhi Medical Council (DMC).

Department: Wards/ Neurosurgery

Experience: 0–3 years of hands-on hospital practice.

Role

* Provide comprehensive inpatient and emergency medical care, support consultants, and ensure smooth clinical operations within the hospital.

* Key Responsibilities

* Patient care delivery: Diagnose, treat, and monitor patients across wards, ICUs, and OPDs.

* Emergency response: Attend to urgent cases promptly, stabilize patients, and escalate to specialists when required.

* Clinical procedures: Perform routine medical interventions and assist in complex procedures under consultant supervision.

* Interdisciplinary collaboration: Coordinate with nursing, radiology, pharmacy, and allied departments for integrated patient care.





* Documentation & compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.

* Continuous monitoring: Conduct regular rounds, follow up on treatment progress, and adjust care plans as needed.

* Policy adherence: Uphold infection control, patient safety, and ethical standards in all clinical practices.

Skills : Strong clinical judgment, ability to work under pressure, effective communication with patients and staff.
