Job description:

- Position Title: Factory Manager / Plant Head
- Industry: Electrical Equipment & Manufacturing (e.g., Transformers, Switchgears, Control Panels, or Wiring)
- Reports To: CEO/ Director

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Operations: Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly assembly and manufacturing schedules to meet dispatch goals. Optimize workflow across coil winding, sub-assembly, testing, and packaging lines.
- Quality & Technical Compliance: Enforce strict quality control protocols (Inward, In-process, and Final Testing). Ensure products comply with electrical standards (e.g., ISO, BIS, CE, or IEEE).
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor production engineers, shift supervisors, and shop-floor technicians. Oversee training programs on safety and technical skill upgrades.
- Maintenance & Safety: Implement routine and preventive maintenance schedules for heavy electrical testing kits, winding machines, and tools to reduce downtime. Enforce strict plant safety regulations regarding high-voltage testing areas.
- Supply Chain & Inventory:



Coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal raw material stock (copper wire, sheet metal, PCBs, and electrical components) without overstocking.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of total manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role within the electrical sector.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, electrical testing standards, budget management, and ERP systems.
