- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose diseases, injuries, and visual disorders.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment like slit lamps, ophthalmoscopes, OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), and fundus cameras.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results.
- Prescribe medications (oral, topical) and eye drops to manage and treat ocular infections or chronic conditions (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration).
- Prescribe and fit corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Documents and evaluates patients’ medical histories.
Pay: ₹53,772.86 - ₹182,105.61 per month
