BARISTA at ANK Restaurants

We are seeking a passionate, customer-oriented Barista to join our fast-paced core team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality, handcrafted beverages, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a love for coffee culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Beverage Preparation: Grind and brew premium coffee beans, steam milk, and craft espresso-based drinks exactly to company recipes and presentation standards.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, offer personalized recommendations, and resolve customer concerns Indeed's Barista Duties Guide.
- Transactions: Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and digital registers to process orders and handle cash securely Indeed's Barista Skills.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Sanitize countertops, wash dishes, and clean coffee grinders, blenders, and espresso machines daily.
- Inventory & Restocking: Monitor supplies (cups, syrups, beans,etc.) and assist management with stock rotation and replenishing the bar.
- Food Preparation: Warm up or serve light bakery items, sandwiches, or snacks,



ensuring compliance with all local health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

- Coffee Knowledge: Understanding of different roasts, brewing methods (pour-over, cold brew, etc.), and extraction techniques.
- Latte Art: Familiarity with latte art designs is highly preferred for all levels.
- Customer-Focused: Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Multitasking & Adaptability: Ability to stay calm and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace during peak hours.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting boxes and cleaning.

Experience and Education

- Previous experience as a Barista, Server, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
- Basic food hygiene/handling certification is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
