Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Manager with a proven track record in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance, and supporting business performance through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall accounting and financial operations of the organization.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and budget utilization.
- Ensure accurate customer billing, vendor payments, and freight-related financial transactions.
- Review shipment costing, job profitability, and expense analysis.
- Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial controls.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
- Lead, mentor,



and develop the Accounts team while driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry,
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding accounting, job costing, customer invoicing, vendor settlements, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Profile

- Experience managing accounts for an international freight forwarding or logistics organization.
- Familiarity with GCC freight forwarding operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Immediate joiners are preffered.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
