Department: Database Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Strong in SQL Server DBA & performance tuning
- Experience in installing and Upgrading SQL Server databases version 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022.
- Experience in Migration of SQL Server from Lower version to Higher both in place and Side by Side.




- Experience with troubleshooting Windows 2012,2016,2019,2022
- Experience with Backups and restore in Native, Azure workloads and Third-party tools like (Avamar, Druva, Veeam)
- Writing & optimizing SQL statements, clustering, HA, DR. Exp in DMV & DDL queries.
- Experience on Replication configurations and troubleshooting, adding articles and syncing data.
- Troubleshooting SSIS Packages and working with dedicated team to fix it.
- Database security and user access on DB with Minimal level of permissions.
- Valuable experience on SSRS reports migration and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring the general SQL alerts and troubles.
- Knowledge on Scripting in T-SQL and PowerShell.
- Knowledge about monitoring tools – SolarWinds, S24.
- Working experience in Azure Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database, certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in applying SQL Server service packs and database upgrades on same server and new server.
- Experience in Database performance tuning and troubleshooting users and application related issues
- Experience in continuous process improvement and automation using PowerShell
- Experience in HA solutions like Always ON setup and maintenance, Log shipping, Database mirroring and replication
- Experience in Upgrade, Patching and migration to On Prem and Cloud
- Experience in Database security and encryption setup using TDE and masking.
- Manage database backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery planning
- Create, change, and improve SQL Server Agent tasks and maintenance plans.
- Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support
