Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled System Administrator & Network Engineer to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, security systems, and end-user support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, network management, cybersecurity, virtualization, backup solutions, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum system availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.
- Create, modify, and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor server health, system performance, and resource utilization.
- Perform OS upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and security updates.
- Configure and maintain file servers, print servers, application servers, and database servers.
- Manage virtualization environments using VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
- Implement server hardening and security best practices.
- Perform server migrations and infrastructure upgrades.

Network Administration

- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
- Install and configure Layer 2 & Layer 3 Managed Switches.
- Configure VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, STP, Port Security, QoS, and Link Aggregation.
- Configure enterprise routers and routing protocols (Static Routing, OSPF, BGP basics).
- Configure wireless controllers and enterprise access points.
- Manage network segmentation and IP addressing.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.

Firewall & Network Security

- Configure and manage Firewall solutions such as Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, SonicWall, pfSense, or OPNsense.
- Configure Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN.
- Implement Firewall Policies, NAT, ACLs, IPS, IDS, Web Filtering, and Application Control.
- Configure SSL VPN and IPsec VPN.
- Monitor firewall logs and security events.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation.

Cloud Administration

- Manage Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Configure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage Exchange Online.
- Configure SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
- Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Configure Conditional Access Policies.




- Manage Microsoft Teams Administration.
- Monitor Microsoft Licensing and User Management.
- Basic Azure Virtual Machine Administration.
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage.

Cybersecurity

- Implement endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents.
- Configure Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Implement Zero Trust security principles.
- Manage endpoint encryption (BitLocker/LUKS).
- Conduct security awareness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Configure automated backup solutions.
- Manage backup software such as Veeam, Acronis, Bacula, or similar.
- Perform backup verification and restoration testing.
- Develop disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure business continuity through backup strategies.

Linux Administration

- Install and maintain Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Rocky Linux, and Red Hat servers.
- Configure SSH, NFS, Samba, Apache, Nginx, and FTP.
- Manage Cron Jobs and Systemd Services.
- Monitor logs and troubleshoot Linux services.
- Manage Docker Engine and Docker Compose.
- Basic Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.

Windows Administration

- Install and maintain Windows Server.
- Configure Active Directory Domain Services.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, File Services.
- Configure Windows Server Backup.
- Manage Windows Updates using WSUS.

Monitoring & Infrastructure Management

- Monitor servers, applications, and networks.
- Configure monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Wazuh, Grafana, Prometheus, PRTG, Nagios, or similar.
- Monitor storage, CPU, memory, and network utilization.
- Analyze logs and generate infrastructure reports.

IT Support

- Provide Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 technical support.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network devices.
- Install and configure operating systems and software.
- Manage IT assets and inventory.
- Support remote users using remote desktop tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty and AMC support.

Documentation & Compliance





- Maintain infrastructure documentation.
- Document SOPs, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
- Maintain license records and renewal schedules.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and IT security standards (preferred).

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in System Administration and Network Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Administration.
- Experience managing Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, VPN).
- Experience configuring enterprise firewalls.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
- Experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for servers, networks, and end-user systems.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
- Good scripting knowledge using PowerShell or Bash is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication), B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, MCA, or equivalent.

- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and endpoint security.
- Experience with DevOps tools and automation.
- Familiarity with AI/GPU servers and virtualization.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
- Experience working in an IT Services, Software, or Product-based company.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical production environments.
- Willingness to provide after-hours or emergency support when required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
