Job Description : Senior Civil Engineer – OPRC

Position: Senior Civil Engineer – OPRC (Output and Performance-Based Road Contract) – Supervision

Experience: Minimum 15+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with strong expertise in World Bank-funded road infrastructure projects, particularly in Output and Performance-Based Road Contracts (OPRC). The candidate should have extensive experience in project supervision, contract administration, quality assurance, and coordination with international funding agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise the execution of OPRC road and highway projects in accordance with World Bank guidelines.

* Ensure compliance with World Bank procurement, contract management, environmental, social, health & safety (ESHS), and reporting requirements.

* Monitor contractor performance against defined output and performance indicators.

* Review and approve work programs, method statements, quality assurance plans, and contractor submissions.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to technical specifications and project timelines.

* Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, Consultants, and World Bank representatives.

* Manage project progress,



quality control, safety compliance, and risk mitigation.

* Review payment certificates, variation orders, claims, and contract documentation.

* Prepare monthly progress reports, technical reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

* Support project audits, monitoring missions, and World Bank review missions.

* Mentor junior engineers and supervise the site supervision team.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

* Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Civil Engineering/Transportation/Highway Engineering (Preferred)

Experience:

* Minimum 15 years of qualified experience in highway/road infrastructure projects.

* At least 8–10 years of experience in World Bank-funded or other internationally funded infrastructure projects.

* Hands-on experience in OPRC (Output and Performance-Based Road Contracts) is mandatory.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of World Bank procurement and contract management procedures.

Experience in FIDIC Conditions of Contract.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
