Staff Nurse – Laboratory & Home Healthcare

About the Role

Kaigo Home Health Care is hiring a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care in our laboratory and during home healthcare visits. This role combines laboratory sample collection with patient care services, offering excellent hands-on clinical exposure in a growing healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect blood samples from walk-in patients and during home visits.
- Perform safe venipuncture and ensure proper sample labeling, handling, and transportation.
- Provide home nursing care as per physician instructions.
- Perform clinical procedures including:
- IV Cannulation
- Urinary Catheter Insertion & Care
- Ryles Tube (NG Tube) Insertion & Feeding
- Wound & Post-operative Dressing
- Insulin Administration
- Medication Administration
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
- Assist doctors during home consultations and medical procedures.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment and home care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and visit reports.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards.




- Ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

- ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing.
- Kerala Nursing Council Registration preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Positive communication and patient handling skills.
- Willingness to travel within Thiruvananthapuram for home visits.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred.
