Primary Responsibilities :

1. Guest Management

Oversee smooth check-in/check-out processes.

Maintain guest records, IDs, and billing in Zoho Books.

Assist with guest needs, complaints, or special requests.

Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and reviews.

2. Hostel Operations

Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of all rooms and common areas.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Manage inventory of linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.

Ensure rules and policies are being followed.

3. Bookings & Communication

Respond to bookings and inquiries on WhatsApp, Hostelworld, Booking dot com, Instagram, and other platforms.

Update bed availability and prices daily as per occupancy.

4. Finance & Reporting

Maintain daily records of cash and digital payments.

Submit daily sales and expense reports.

Coordinate with the accounts team for monthly summaries.

5. Community Engagement

Welcome guests into the WhatsApp group and introduce activities.

Help plan and promote weekly events, local tours, or hostel activities.





Encourage social interactions between guests.

6. Vendor & Staff Coordination

Supervise and schedule support staff (housekeeping, cafe master etc.).

Coordinate with laundry, maintenance vendors, and café team.

7. Emergency Handling

Be the first point of contact for any emergencies (medical, safety, etc.).

Maintain records of emergency contacts and protocols.
