The Warehouse Head will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including material receipt, storage, dispatch, inventory control, manpower coordination, and customer/vendor communication. This role demands precision, proactive planning, and real-time execution to ensure seamless supply chain support for KIA and other clients.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Receiving Operations
* Verify inward material against invoices and report discrepancies immediately
* Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and update ERP systems
* Ensure proper labeling and documentation of received goods
Storage & Inventory Management
* Allocate and store materials in designated locations using put-away strategies
* Maintain accurate bin card systems and location mapping
* Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile book vs physical stock with zero variance
* Implement FIFO/LIFO methods as per material type and client requirement
Picking & Dispatch
* Monitor portal for material shortages and initiate picking accordingly
* Schedule dispatches every 30 minutes based on KIA’s vehicle sequence
* Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for outbound shipments
* Maintain dispatch logs and delivery confirmation records
Transport & Logistics Coordination
* Arrange trucks and drivers for timely dispatches
* Coordinate with vendors for on-time placement of vehicles and manpower
* Track vehicle movement and resolve transit delays proactively
Manpower & Resource Planning
* Allocate warehouse staff for loading/unloading and shift operations
* Monitor productivity and ensure safety compliance
* Conduct daily briefings and maintain attendance records
Customer & Vendor Coordination
* Serve as point of contact for KIA and other clients regarding dispatch schedules and shortages
* Liaise with vendors for timely supply and manpower availability
* Resolve operational issues and escalate critical delays
Reporting & Documentation
* Prepare daily MIS reports covering inward, dispatch, inventory, manpower, and vehicle status
* Maintain audit-ready documentation for all warehouse activities
* Support monthly and quarterly reviews with performance metrics
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
