Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Havells store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory accuracy, leading the store team, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role focuses on delivering a superior customer experience while maximizing store profitability and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations

- Manage day-to-day store operations efficiently.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
- Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety guidelines.

Sales & Business Development

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Increase walk-in customer conversion and average billing value.
- Promote Havells products, recent launches, and ongoing promotional campaigns.
- Develop relationships with contractors, electricians, builders, architects, and institutional customers.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor stock availability and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse/distributors for timely replenishment.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.




- Minimize stock losses, damage, and obsolete inventory through effective control measures.

Customer Service

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Guide customers in selecting suitable electrical products.
- Ensure proper handling of warranty and service-related queries.

Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and supervise the store staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance.
- Conduct product knowledge and customer service training.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide regular feedback.

Billing & Cash Management

- Supervise billing operations and cash handling.
- Ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation.
- Monitor POS transactions and maintain billing records.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain records related to inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with management for operational improvements.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in retail store management.
- Experience in the Electrical, FMEG, Consumer Durable, or Building Materials industry is preferred.

Pay: ₹12,101.28 - ₹41,774.45 per month
