We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our modern polyclinic in Kuravilangadu, Kottayam. The candidate will handle patient payments, front desk activities, and customer service with professionalism and efficiency. This position offers a stable day-shift schedule with no night duties.

​Key Responsibilities:​

- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle cash, card, and insurance-related payments accurately
- Issue receipts, invoices, and maintain daily transaction records
- Register patient information and update records in the system
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries efficiently
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for smooth patient flow
- Resolve patient concerns and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure confidentiality of patient and payment information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and cashier area
- Prepare daily cash reports and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift
- Follow medical centre policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Assist walk-in patients with directions, forms, and general information




- Monitor waiting areas and support a positive patient experience
- Work efficiently during operations and manage front-desk activities smoothly
- Coordinate directly with the Chartered Accountant regarding financial documents, reports, and accounting-related tasks

​Requirements:

- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a cashier, receptionist, or customer service staff, preferably in a medical centre or clinic.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing systems, MS Office, cash handling, and basic accounting procedures.
- Soft Skills: Solid communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Availability: Ability to join immediately is highly preferred..
