Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
- Coordinate with Sales, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production schedules and revise plans based on priority requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and machine utilization.
- Minimize downtime, rework, and production losses.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely availability of raw materials.
- Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) and finished goods inventory.
- Reduce excess inventory and material shortages.
- Lead production supervisors, operators, and planning staff.




- Allocate manpower efficiently across production lines.
- Conduct daily production review meetings and monitor team performance.
- Train and develop production personnel.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in production planning and manufacturing.
- Experience in gasket manufacturing, automotive components, or engineering manufacturing preferred.
- Robust knowledge of ERP/SAP, production scheduling, inventory planning, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools.
