Description:
Responsible for executing procurement strategies, managing supplier and farmer
relationships, selecting sourcing fields, and ensuring product quality throughout the
supply chain. The role requires solid team coordination, market intelligence, vendor
development to ensure consistent supply at competitive prices.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for Tomatoes and Others.
- Identify and onboard suitable farmers, aggregators, FPCs, and suppliers.
- Conduct field and farm visits to evaluate crop quality, seasonality, and yield
predictions.
- Build and maintain strong supplier/vendor/farmer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, mandi arrivals, daily prices, and competitor sourcing patterns.
- Ensure product quality specifications are met at farm gate and collection points.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely dispatch, routing, and loading supervision.
- Reduce procurement risks through diversified sourcing locations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
