Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Supervisor (CNC Division)

Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Manager

Location: Ambattur , Chennai

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all quality control operations and staff to ensure that products meet company and industry standards. This includes managing quality control procedures, inspecting outputs, identifying quality issues, and implementing corrective actions.

The role is critical to maintaining product consistency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the QC team, including inspectors, technicians, and lab personnel.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and work with production and engineering teams on corrective actions.
- Train QC staff on quality procedures, safety practices, and new regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management.




- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
- Monitor calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of QC methodologies, statistical process control, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QC software tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in quality control
- Experience in [industry-manufacturing, automotive].

Work Conditions:

- Primarily in office in a production
- May require occasional overtime or weekend shifts.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
