- Translate customer needs and market trends into technical specifications for body system features.
- Participate in discussions with OEMs to align and finalize system requirements.
- Oversee the development and validation of Body Control Modules (BCMs).
- Collaborate with engineering, software, vehicle integration, and manufacturing teams to ensure system-level performance and quality.
Required Skill Set:
- In-depth knowledge of body systems including central locking, anti-theft systems, power windows, lighting, and comfort/convenience features.
- Expertise in the architecture and integration of Body Control Modules (BCMs).
- Experience in modeling, simulation, and validation of body systems using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Familiarity with system-level testing including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and vehicle-level validation.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and cybersecurity standards applicable to chassis/body systems.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with hardware, software, and testing teams across global locations.
- Robust communication and documentation skills, especially in requirement management and technical reporting.
