Role Summary:

Vyapar's Engineering team builds the technology platform that eases and digitizes our customers' bookkeeping and enables the transition of cumbersome accounting data from general bookkeeping to a digitized always available resource.

The Javascript engineer will be responsible for the developing features in Vyapar application. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive design, JQuery, React etc. concepts is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application




- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Interacting with team members and guiding them for the right design and implementation

Desired Skills And Requirements

Must have

- HTML, CSS
- Robust JavaScript/ Typescript
- React/ Angular/ JQuery
- Problem-solving skills and Data Structures.
- Design Patterns and SOLID principles

Good to have

- Familiarity with Next.js, Sass is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of Web UI design principles
- Knowledge of state-management libraries like Redux, context etc.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and best SEO practices is a plus
- Familiarity with docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Experience:

- Total Experience should be 1 to 3 years
- Minimum one year of experience in JavaScript
- Minimum one year of experience in HTML, CSS
- Product Company background is a plus

Education:

- A full-time B.E/ B.Tech Degree from a recognized university
