We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T;) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defense forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform, and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute UAV flight operations in accordance with NRT procedures
- Coordinates in ground and flight operations efforts to include planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, and safety
- Perform preflight checks to assure mission readiness
- Maintain daily pre and post-flight and inspection activity logs
- Adhere to established outlined safety policies and procedures
- Assuring all equipment is integrated, maintained, inspected
- Perform minor integration and maintenance on the aircraft
- Collaborate with coworkers on projects
- Assist with general office duties
- Perform related duties as assigned
Must have skills:
- knowledge of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
- Must be familiar with flying fixed-wing electric and knowledge on IC engine powered UAV platforms of various sizes and be able to learn to fly
the platform(s) developed at NewSpace RnD
- Must have experience in flying UAVs which are hand and catapult launched
- Knowledge of all applicable regulations and policies governing UAV
- Ability to work with flexible schedule during peak periods
- Ability to understand the flight parameters and assess the quality of the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose UAV systems
- Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Safety protocols
- Good judgment with the ability to react quickly to hazards
- Ability to work independently and take initiative

- Knowledge of different Flight Control Unit (FCU) operations, troubleshooting and integration

- Basic knowledge of IC engine tuning
