About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, process optimization, quality control, resource utilization, and achieving production targets while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and schedule production activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Manage manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with procurement and stores.
- Supervise machine operations and production lines for smooth functioning.
- Ensure adherence to quality control and quality assurance standards.
- Manage manpower allocation, shift planning, and workforce productivity.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-control initiatives.
- Minimize wastage and scrap through effective process management.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, purchase, quality, and dispatch teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and MIS.




- Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3-7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, quality management, and process improvement.
- Positive knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
