PickleMonk Media is a creative agency and production house that creates content for brands, founders and businesses. We produce social-first videos that are creative, strategic and designed to grab attention.

We're looking for a Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience who understands how to create engaging Reels and short-form content for today's digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content.
- Create dynamic cuts, captions, transitions and motion graphics.
- Add background music, sound effects and ensure clean audio.
- Edit founder branding videos, podcasts, interviews and product videos.
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form assets.
- Collaborate with videographers, content strategists and creative directors.
- Organise project files and maintain efficient editing workflows.
- Deliver projects on time while maintaining creative quality.

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Good understanding of social media editing styles and trends.
- Experience creating vertical videos for Instagram and YouTube.
- Understanding of pacing,



storytelling and audience retention.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Bonus Skills

- Experience editing podcasts and interview videos.
- Basic colour grading.
- Thumbnail design using Photoshop.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools.
