About the role

Aarambh is a new physical development program for children ages 6–9, running as an after-school pilot at a school in Mumbai. We're looking for a coach to lead fun, structured movement sessions that build kids' physical skills, confidence, and teamwork — through games and activities, not drills or lectures.

What you'll do

- Lead sessions for a group of 12–15 children (ages 6–9), following a ready-made session plan (you won't need to design activities yourself)
- Run games and activities that build physical skills like balance, coordination, and endurance
- Keep kids engaged, safe, and having fun — no yelling, no elimination games, no favoritism
- Fill in a simple scorecard after each session (we'll show you exactly how — takes 5 minutes)
- Communicate with the program lead after each session on how it went

Who we're looking for

- Experience working with kids ages 6–10 — school, sports, camps, dance, or activity classes all count




- Comfortable leading a group of kids on your own, calmly and confidently
- Reliable — shows up on time, follows the plan, does what's asked
- Warm, energetic, good with children — being fun matters as much as being organized
- Sports coaching, PE teaching, or fitness training background is a plus, but not required if you have solid experience with kids

Details

- Type: Contract, 8-week program
- Hours: 2–4 hours/week (exact schedule to be confirmed)
- Location: Byculla, Mumbai
- Pay: ₹1,200–1,800/hour (final rate confirmed based on schedule)
- Training provided — you'll be walked through everything before you start, including a demo session

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
