Job Summary
The Operations Executive is responsible for managing payment processing, collections, and account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of customer and internal queries. The role requires close coordination with finance, sales, and customer service teams to maintain smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately and on time.
- Monitor and track payment receipts and outstanding balances.
- Follow up with customers for pending payments through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate collection records and update customer accounts.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and exceptions.
- Coordinate with finance and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Prepare operational and MIS reports related to payments, collections, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team player with positive organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in operations, payments, collections, reconciliation, or finance.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in banking, NBFC, fintech, shared services, or finance operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, payment gateways, and reconciliation processes.
