Job Title : Electrical Distribution Project Engineer

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Location : Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) for new and existing infrastructure projects.

- Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables including One-Line Diagrams, Control & Relay Schematics, Area Classification Drawings, and Electrical Layouts.

- Perform load flow, short circuit, and power system studies using ETAP software.

- Design overhead and underground power distribution networks for industrial and facility projects.

- Develop detailed engineering drawings, construction work packages, and technical documentation.

- Build, validate, and maintain ETAP models and generate engineering study reports.

- Support power generation, distribution planning, capacity forecasting, and network optimization activities.

- Provide technical support for medium-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems during operations and maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of electrical system issues.

- Ensure compliance with engineering standards,



safety regulations, and project specifications.

- Maintain accurate engineering records, drawings, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requisites
- Bachelor//'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

- Strong experience in Electrical Distribution System Design and Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with ETAP software for power system modeling and analysis.

- Knowledge of High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems.

- Understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.

- Experience in preparing One-Line Diagrams, Relay Schematics, and Electrical Design Documentation.

- Familiarity with electrical engineering standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, utility, or infrastructure projects.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.

- Solid communication, technical reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
