Job Title: Design Engineer for Conveyor Systems/ Bulk Material Handling

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing conveyor systems as per client requirements, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities (Experienced Candidate for Conveyor Design)

- Lead end-to-end design of conveyor systems (belt, roller, chain, screw, slat, etc.) for bulk and unit material handling
- Handle complete project design lifecycle – from concept, layout finalization to detailed engineering
- Perform advanced engineering calculations (belt sizing, power calculation, torque, shaft design, structure strength, etc.)
- Finalize drive selection (motor, gearbox, coupling) based on application and load conditions
- Prepare and review GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings
- Ensure accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and optimize material usage for cost efficiency




- Interact with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions & design proposals
- Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with standards, safety norms, and client specifications
- Coordinate closely with production, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams for smooth execution
- Support troubleshooting, site issues, and modification requirements during installation & commissioning
- Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
- Standardize designs and develop design libraries/templates for repetitive projects
- Mentor junior engineers and guide them on design practices and calculations
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documentation as per project timelines
- Improve existing conveyor designs for performance, reliability, and maintenance ease
- Participate in vendor discussions and technical evaluations
- Analyze failures and implement design improvements (root cause analysis)
- Support proposal/estimation team with technical inputs and costing data.

Salary:
As per Market Standards and Experience

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
