CFD/CAE ANALYSIS ENGINEER
The Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Center of Excellence at Applied Material is seeking outstanding engineers in CFD Analysis. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently receive minimal guidance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Masters (with 3-5 years of experience) in mechanical
- Must have in-depth knowledge of CFD, fluid dynamics, thermal (with radiation heat transfer) and mixing/reactive flows (mandatory)
- Expert user of commercially available CFD analysis tools such as Fluent
- Excellent communication skills, Knowledge in writing reports.
Key Responsibilities :
- Works on identifying product design and development problems where CAE analysis can accelerate the development
- Proactively validates/correlates results with real-world data and makes model improvements as deemed necessary
- Very valuable understanding of business unit processes and hardware; good knowledge of data analysis techniques to summarize CAE data
Qualifications
- Education : bachelor's or Master's Degree: Mechanical Engineering
- Skills: Fluent Simulation
- Years of Experience: 2- 4 Years
