Job Description: QC Chemist (Cosmetics)

Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in a cosmetic research lab or cosmetic manufacturing company specializing in Skin Care and Oral Care.

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Cosmetic Science / Pharmac

Job Summary:

The QA-QC Chemist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Neova Biogene Wellness' cosmetic products. This position involves conducting various quality control tests, analyzing product samples, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cosmetic regulations and a passion for ensuring product safety and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test raw materials, in-process samples, bulk, and finished products as per approved specifications.
- Perform routine physical and chemical tests (pH, viscosity, specific gravity, appearance, colour, odour, etc.).
- Inspect and approve/reject packaging materials as per specifications.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (pH Meter, Viscometer, Analytical Balance, Moisture Analyzer, etc.).




- Prepare and maintain test reports, CoA, logbooks, calibration records, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, SOPs, and laboratory safety requirements.
- Support stability studies, OOS/OOT investigations, deviations, and CAPA activities.
- Coordinate with Production and QA for timely testing and batch release.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure proper handling of chemicals and laboratory waste.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of cosmetic quality control testing.
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, GDP, and cosmetic regulatory requirements.
- Basic understanding of analytical instruments and calibration.
- Good documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
- Robust communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

- Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
