Job Description:
Shridhar University is seeking a dynamic and experienced academic leader for the position of Dean – Academics. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing academic planning, curriculum development, quality assurance, and faculty performance across all departments. The role requires a solid commitment to academic excellence, innovation in teaching, and alignment with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all academic operations of the university
- Develop and implement academic policies, programs, and curricula
- Ensure compliance with UGC/AICTE and other regulatory bodies
- Monitor teaching standards, student outcomes, and academic performance
- Coordinate with department heads for academic planning and execution
- Promote research, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning
- Oversee accreditation and ranking processes (NAAC, NBA, etc.)
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in academic quality

Qualifications & Experience:

- Ph.D.



in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum 10–15 years of academic experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of higher education regulations and accreditation processes
- Proven track record in academic administration and research
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

- Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
- Experience with outcome-based education (OBE) frameworks
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and modern teaching methodologies
