Job Role: GCP Data Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and manage ETL processes to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and optimize data lakes to store and manage complex data sets.
- Manage databases, particularly MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable data architectures.

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data engineering.




- Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline creation.
- Experience with Data Lakes for large-scale data storage and management.

Secondary Skills:

- Knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark for big data processing.
- Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem.
- Automotive domain experience is an added advantage

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in GCP or related technologies are a plus.
