Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, designing efficient data storage solutions, and ensuring high-quality data for analytics and business intelligence. Fresh graduates with strong academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and relational databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through validation and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Optimize database performance and process large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using industry-standard tools.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Utilize big data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
- Automate, schedule, and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and database-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.

Required SkillsProgramming & Database

- Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases

Data Engineering

- Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF),



SSIS, or similar ETL tools is preferred

Data Modeling

- Entity-Relationship (ER) Diagrams
- Dimensional Modeling
- Data Normalization

Big Data & Workflow Automation

- Hands-on experience or knowledge of Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Kafka
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools

Cloud Technologies

- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- Freshers with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, internships, or relevant academic projects are welcome.
- 2–3 years of experience in Python, SQL, data integration, ETL, or data visualization tools will be an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented workplace while managing multiple projects.
