Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and a robust technical knowledge of materials and equipment used in our industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing items that meet project specifications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement: Identify qualified suppliers of materials and equipment, maintaining a comprehensive supplier database.

Negotiation:



Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best terms for the organization.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement activities with technical project requirements.

Technical Insight: Leverage technical knowledge to assess product specifications and performance to ensure alignment with project needs.

Reporting: Provide procurement reports that highlight trends, potential savings, and supply chain improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within related industries.

Strong technical knowledge of materials and equipment used in manufacturing and energy sectors.

Excellent negotiation skills and familiarity with procurement best practices.

Strong communication and analytical skills.
