The Pediatric Registrar is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents under the supervision of Consultant Pediatricians. The role involves patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, emergency management, and coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients in OPD, IPD, NICU, and PICU settings.

Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress.

Attend pediatric emergencies and provide immediate medical care.

Assist consultants in clinical procedures and treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.

Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment and progress.

Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure quality patient care.

Participate in clinical audits, case presentations, and departmental meetings.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and infection control practices.

Support teaching and training activities for junior doctors and nursing staff.

MBBS with MD
