We are looking for an experienced Lead Workday Finance Functional Consultant to support large-scale, end-to-end Workday Financials implementations.

Work Model: Remote
Contract Duration: 3–6 months, extendable
Experience: 6–9 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations for large enterprise clients
- Own functional design, solutioning, configuration, testing, and issue resolution
- Drive requirements and configuration across Workday Finance and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Work across Supplier Accounts, Supplier Contracts, Procurement, AP, Fixed Assets, Banking and Settlement, Inventory, and FDM
- Manage global and multi-country deployments, including localization, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Identify implementation risks, alternatives, mitigation plans, and delivery strategies
- Lead testing activities and resolve complex functional issues
- Support pre-sales activities, including scope, effort, resource estimation, and solution planning
- Contribute to delivery methodology improvements and implementation best practices
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration teams

Mandatory Experience

- 6–9 years of relevant Workday Finance functional experience
- Experience acting as Functional Lead on at least two large enterprise, end-to-end Workday Financials implementations
- Strong hands-on experience in design, configuration, testing, and deployment




- Strong expertise in Workday Finance Core and P2P
- Experience with Supplier Accounts and Contracts, Procurement, FDM, Business Assets, Banking and Settlement, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and integrations
- Experience handling global or multi-country Workday deployments
- Robust client-facing, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in pre-sales, solution estimation, scope definition, and resource planning

Mandatory Certifications

- Workday certification in Financial Core, Workday P2P, or Financial Services Practical and Essentials
- Workday Financial iLoad practical experience
- Workday Financial Reporting certification or relevant hands-on expertise

Preferred Skills

- Background in financial accounting or procurement
- Experience with Budgets, Reporting, Banking, Taxes, Business Assets, and Inventory
- Hands-on experience with Workday data conversion using EIB and iLoads
- Experience developing Workday financial reports

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree
