Hexxcell is seeking a talented Process Systems Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. You will work closely with our engineering and software development teams on cutting-edge digitalisation projects for leading energy and process industry companies worldwide.

The successful candidate will develop advanced mathematical models, analyse industrial process data, and contribute to the deployment of AI-powered digital twin solutions that improve energy efficiency, asset reliability and sustainability. Working in close collaboration with colleagues and customers, you will support projects across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, with opportunities for occasional travel to customer sites for technical workshops, commissioning and project support.

Responsibilities

- Analyse plant operating data and develop data-driven operational improvement strategies using Hexxcell's proprietary technology and algorithms.
- Support the development and deployment of Hexxcell Studio™ and related software technologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and software development teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations and customer-facing documentation.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and support project delivery.
- Support customer site visits,



technical workshops and commissioning activities when required.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

- MSc or PhD in Process Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least three years of relevant industrial and/or research experience.
- Proficiency in scientific programming using Python, R or similar languages.
- Experience developing first-principles process models.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer and industrial heat transfer systems.
- Experience in heat exchanger design and/or thermal performance analysis.
- Fundamental understanding of distillation systems.
- Experience interpreting P&IDs;, DCS data and industrial plant measurements.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering software and industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to undertake occasional international travel to support customer projects and technical meetings.

The following would be considered an advantage:

- Industrial experience in the refining, petrochemical, chemical or energy sectors, or with engineering consulting or EPC companies.
- Experience with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
