The Installation Engineer will be responsible for on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of
industrial cranes and lifting equipment. This role demands a hands-on approach, technical accuracy,
and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of various types of cranes (EOT, Gantry, Jib, etc.)
as per project requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, electrical layouts, and mechanical schematics.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Conduct inspection and alignment of mechanical assemblies and ensure correct electrical
terminations.
- Perform load testing and performance validation of cranes post-installation.
- Prepare detailed installation reports, inspection checklists, and commissioning documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Support service and maintenance teams for troubleshooting during handover or after
commissioning.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
5 to 6 years of experience in industrial equipment installation, preferably in cranes or heavy
machinery. Freshers with robust technical aptitude and willingness to travel are welcome.
