Lead Software Engineer
Bangalore, India - Remote

Position Overview:

As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in product engineering, research, development and enhancement in existing software systems, with a focus on security and network-related products. You will leverage your expertise in building scalable solutions and your extensive experience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, Python, Django, Django Rest Framework,



Flask and Vue.js to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and improvement of our cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Own the design, development, and management of high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions for threat intelligence.
- Architect and implement distributed systems tailored for security and network-related products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
- As a product specialist focused on web scraping, build solutions for scraping data from various sources and processing large, unstructured datasets.
- Own the creation of tools, services, and workflows to improve crawl/scrape analysis, reports, and data management.
- Test and validate scraped data to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Follow best practices and coding standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through optimization, performance tuning, and scalability enhancements.
- Stay updated with advancements in relevant technologies and contribute to technical discussions and decisions.
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Provide team management and assist team members in resolving technical issues.

What You’ll Need:





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, or Flask.
- Extensive experience building security and network-related products is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, reusable code, and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and related technologies.
- Front-end experience using Vue.js, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, and Playwright.
- Knowledge of automated data extraction, including proxy rotation, user-agent spoofing, and CAPTCHA bypassing.
- 1–2 years of focused experience in web scraping using Python, Scrapy, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Experience with Git, Docker, and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with background task processing and related technologies.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian).
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in agile development environments.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.

- Prior experience in Security Solutions, Threat Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Web Scraping.
