About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade DevOps strategies and infrastructure. In this leadership role, you will architect scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines, modernize our deployment practices, and ensure operational excellence across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work closely with development, QA, cloud, and security teams to define the technical roadmap for DevOps transformation, introduce best practices, and mentor engineering teams across the organization. This role is critical to achieving agility, speed, and reliability in our software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement DevOps strategies, frameworks, and architectures aligned with business goals.
- Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native solutions.
- Architect and implement highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve automation, monitoring, security, and performance.




- Guide and mentor DevOps and engineering teams on best practices, tooling, and architecture.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards across the software delivery process.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and SRE teams to align DevOps initiatives with development objectives.
- Define observability standards using monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Drive incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and platform scalability efforts.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years in DevOps, and 3+ years in a DevOps/Solutions Architect role.
- Expert in architecting CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native design principles.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Solid understanding of networking, security (IAM, encryption, secrets management), and DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with service mesh, API gateways, and microservices deployment.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell).
- Proven experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
- Exposure to serverless computing and edge/cloud hybrid architectures.
- Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps practices in the cloud.
- Background in software development or SRE is a robust plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
