About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Elevator Field Technician for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution and technical inspections across Mumbai.
Prior hands-on experience in the elevator industry is mandatory. Candidates with only general electrical, mechanical, construction or facility-management experience will not be considered unless they have worked directly on elevators.
This is a field-based technical position requiring regular movement between project sites and personal involvement in technical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out elevator installation work according to approved drawings, procedures and project requirements.
- Support testing, adjustment, commissioning and handover activities.
- Attend preventive maintenance visits, breakdown calls and technical complaints.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and undertake repairs or adjustments.
- Inspect sites and report civil, electrical, access-related and safety constraints.
- Identify installation defects, snag points and non-conformities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors and customers.
- Submit daily work updates, attendance, site photographs,
service reports and task-completion details through FieldCircle or the prescribed system.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment.
- Travel within Mumbai and, when required, to outstation project locations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Direct field experience in the elevator industry.
- Hands-on exposure to elevator installation, maintenance, commissioning or breakdown troubleshooting.
- Practical understanding of elevator mechanical and electrical components.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
- Willingness to travel regularly between project sites.
- Ability to join immediately or at the earliest possible date.
ITI or Diploma qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics will be preferred.
Compensation and Travel Support
Compensation will be aligned with the candidate’s elevator-industry experience and technical capability. Local conveyance support and approved outstation travel expenses will be provided in accordance with Company policy.
