- Ensure high standards of critical care nursing practice for all ICU patients.
- Supervise and coordinate patient care activities including admissions, transfers, and discharges from ICU.
- Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control practices, medication safety, and patient safety guidelines.
- Monitor patient outcomes and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Participate in clinical rounds with consultants and intensivists.
- Handle medico-legal cases and critical incidents as per hospital policy.
- Plan, allocate, and supervise duty rosters for ICU nursing staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal skill mix per ICU norms.
- Maintain ICU records, registers, checklists, and reports.
- Coordinate with biomedical, pharmacy, CSSD, housekeeping, and other support services.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of ICU equipment and consumables.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement activities.
- Orient, mentor, and evaluate ICU nursing staff.
- Identify training needs and conduct/coordinate ICU-specific training and mock drills.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and qualified conduct among staff.




- Address staff grievances and escalate when required.
- Monitor and report adverse events, medication errors, and near-miss incidents.
- Implement quality indicators and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care.
- Act as a liaison between doctors, nursing staff, patients’ relatives, and hospital administration.
- Participate in ICU meetings and hospital committees as assigned.
- Ensure effective handover and communication during shift changes.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to ICU nursing staff.
- Raise requisitions for equipment, consumables, and manpower.

Qualifications & Experience

- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
- Registration: Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of ICU experience, with at least 2 years in In-Charge/supervisory role.
- SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE FOR DESERVING CANDIDATE

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
