Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed cloud architectures. Collaboration with various teams to align deployment strategies and troubleshoot integration challenges is also a key part of the daily routine.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future reference.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and validate cloud architectures through proof of concept implementations.
- Familiarity with performance testing and optimization of cloud environments.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Migration Planning.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
