Construction Manager: Civil- Substation

Location: Chennai

Work Location: UAE

Experience: 10yrs to 16yrs

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall civil construction execution activities at substation project sites.
- Plan, organize, and manage resources, schedules, and budgets for civil works.
- Supervise and coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure adherence to construction drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that may arise during execution.
- Monitor work progress, prepare daily/weekly progress reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.




- Review and approve civil work method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality assurance procedures.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage procurement and delivery of civil construction materials in coordination with the supply chain team.

Requirements:

- BE/BTech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1016 years of progressive experience in civil execution, preferably in substation or related infrastructure projects.
- Robust understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
