Store Keeper & Purchase Executive

Job Summary

The Store Keeper & Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the restaurant's inventory and procurement activities. This role ensures timely purchasing of quality products at competitive prices, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports uninterrupted restaurant operations through efficient stock control and supplier coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Store food, beverages, and non-food items following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels.
- Minimize losses due to spoilage, damage, expiry, or pilferage.

Procurement & Purchasing

- Identify purchasing requirements based on stock levels and operational needs.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders after obtaining required approvals.
- Source products from approved vendors while ensuring the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Obtain quotations, compare supplier prices, and negotiate cost-effective purchases.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.




- Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery reliability.
- Maintain complete purchase records, quotations, contracts, and supplier documentation.

Store Operations

- Issue materials to the kitchen and restaurant departments against approved requisitions.
- Ensure proper labeling, organization, cleanliness, and security of the store.
- Monitor storage conditions, including temperature and hygiene standards for perishable items.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), purchase orders, stock registers, issue records, and invoices.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and purchase reports.
- Assist with month-end inventory reconciliation and internal/external audits.

Quality Control

- Inspect the quality and quantity of all received materials.
- Reject damaged, expired, or substandard products.
- Monitor expiry dates and coordinate timely utilization of inventory.

Coordination & Compliance

- Work closely with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, Accounts, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and procurement policies.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
