Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary and highly skilled Cinematographer to lead the visual production of our client campaigns. You will be responsible for shooting high-quality, cinematic footage that will be transformed into viral Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form digital content. The ideal candidate has a brilliant eye for framing, an advanced understanding of lighting, and knows exactly how to shoot content that captures and retains viewer attention in a fast-paced scrolling environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Production: Lead on-set cinematography for various client shoots, ensuring all visual outputs align with Culsac’s modern and professional aesthetic standards.

Lighting & Composition: Masterfully set up lighting and frame shots to create an upmarket, clean look, adapting quickly to different environments (from corporate offices and clinics to outdoor events and sports academies).

Platform-Optimized Shooting: Shoot with the final edit in mind. Understand safe zones, aspect ratios (9:16 for Reels/Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube),



and angles that allow our editing team to implement fast-paced cuts and viral hooks seamlessly.

Client Direction: Guide and direct clients and talent on set, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident on camera to get the most authentic and engaging takes.

Equipment Management: Operate, maintain, and manage all camera, audio, and lighting gear.

Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative strategy and video editing teams to translate abstract concepts into compelling visual stories.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven Experience: A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating expertise in shooting digital, social-first, and commercial content.

Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of professional camera systems, lenses, audio recording on set, and dynamic lighting techniques.

Aesthetic Sensibility: A sharp eye for modern, minimalist, and classy visuals that elevate a brand's perceived value.

Adaptability: The ability to think on your feet, solve on-set bottlenecks, and capture high-quality footage in dynamic or high-energy environments.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively direct clients who may be stepping in front of the camera for the first time.
