Operations & People Manager – Sales & Customer Service

Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month, based on experience and capability

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations & People Manager to take ownership of our India office and work closely with our Australian management.

This is not a traditional HR position. We need someone who can lead people, identify gaps, improve performance, solve problems and ensure the business operates efficiently without requiring constant involvement from senior management.

You will oversee teams across Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Administration, working with existing team leaders and managers to improve accountability, productivity and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day performance of the Dehradun office.
- Manage and support team leaders across Operations, Sales and Customer Service.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, targets and employee performance.
- Identify operational, staffing and process gaps and implement solutions.
- Conduct regular team and management performance meetings.
- Hold employees and managers accountable for responsibilities and deadlines.
- Improve and enforce SOPs, processes and workflows.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and follow-up standards.
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained and complaints are resolved appropriately.
- Investigate recurring mistakes,



service failures and performance issues and address their root causes.
- Manage attendance, punctuality, workplace discipline and employee conduct.
- Coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding, training and performance reviews.
- Implement performance improvement plans where required.
- Develop employees and identify potential future team leaders/managers.
- Provide management with regular reports covering KPIs, staffing, performance issues and recommended improvements.
- Act as the key link between the India office and Australian management.

Who We're Looking For

We want someone with 5+ years of management experience, ideally within Operations, BPO, Logistics, Transport, Customer Service, Sales Operations or a similar rapid-paced environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, be confident managing managers and employees, understand KPIs and performance management, and be comfortable making decisions.

Important: This is a senior, hands-on management position. Candidates whose experience is primarily recruitment/payroll without operational team-management experience WILL not be suitable.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
