Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Press Machine Operator with 5+ years of experience in operating press machines for SS sheet metal components progressive die and mould operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in press machine setup, die handling, production operations, quality inspection, and achieving production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up mechanical/power press machines for Stainless Steel (SS) sheet components.
- Perform forming, trimming, punching, and stamping operations as per production requirements.
- Handle SS sheet progressive die operations.
- Install, align, and change dies, punches, and tooling accurately.
- Load and unload sheet materials safely and ensure proper positioning.
- Adjust machine parameters for achieving required dimensions and product quality.
- Monitor press operations to ensure smooth production and minimize defects.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Identify and report defects related to material, tooling, machine settings, and process issues.
- Perform basic die setting, troubleshooting,



and minor machine adjustments ad Die maintenance.
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and daily output details.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S workplace practices.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality and reducing material wastage.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in press machine operations for SS sheet components.
- Knowledge of forming, trimming, punching, and progressive die operations.
- Experience in handling dies, punches, and tooling setup.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Knowledge of sheet metal processes and manufacturing defects.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for press machines and tooling issues.
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Qualifications

- ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Tool & Die Maker / Turner) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in sheet metal press operations will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum: 5+ years of relevant experience in:
- Shearing and stamping processes
- SS sheet progressive die operations
- Press machine and tooling handling

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
