Sales Trainee – Textile Division

Reporting To

Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in promoting and selling textile products to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, planning, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, and market intelligence updates.
- Support the team in generating inquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups.
- Understand customer fabric specifications, quality requirements, and commercial expectations.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
- Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, and business development activities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and quality-related concerns.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
- Freshers or up to 2 years of experience in textile sales, marketing,



merchandising, or customer service.

Skills Required

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust customer relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, fabrics, yarns, and quality parameters.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and business development.

Language Requirements

- English – Mandatory
- Tamil – Mandatory
- Hindi – Preferred

Education

- B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or Textile Processing.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
