Senior Tekla Structure checker

Location: Bangalore

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Education Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B-Tech) / in Civil / Construction / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.by recognized university
- Self-motivated
- Team Player
- Willingness to learn and evolve with the industry
- Knowledge of AISC, NISD, CISC, BS, IS, AWS and OSHA.
- Value Quality as paramount to a projects success
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Can meet deadlines
- Strong computer background including experience with Tekla Structure, AutoCAD and MS Office – Excel, Word, MS Projects
The ability to
- basic math skills including trigonometry.
- Must have a good understanding of both 2D and 3D CAD.
- The ability to pay close attention to Check, precision and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.

Responsibilities:





- Deliver the complete fabrication package as per project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with company standard procedures and project requirements.
- Assign work and provide technical direction to subordinate detailers / drafters and check the deliverables.
- Perform modeling of steel members and connections for critical structures and produce fabrication and erection drawings using TEKLA software.
- Assist in the development of basic layout drawings for civil/structural data or other purposes.
- Respond to fabricator’s queries and manage tracking list.
- Checking of Anchor bolt plan, Erection drawings & Shop drawings etc.
- Study of input drawings received from the client.
- Checking of output product by the detailer (Model Check & Drawing Check)
- Co-ordination of workflow in the team.
- Raising queries for the missing information.(RFI)
- Work allotment, monitoring and guiding the detailer in completing the work in scheduled time.
- Responsible to complete the projects within the target date with valuable service quality.
