**Role:** DLP Specialist (100 hours)

**Experience:** Spanish speaking with 10+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft Purview and related platforms.
- Create and fine-tune custom classifiers and sensitive information types to address business-specific requirements.
- Perform policy testing and validation to ensure accurate detection and minimal false positives.
- Manage and triage DLP incidents, escalating as needed while providing root cause analysis and remediation guidance.
- Collaborate with compliance, security, and IT operations teams to align DLP policies with organizational data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide best practices and recommendations for improving data protection strategies.
- Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer sessions in Spanish for global/regional teams.





Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of skilled experience in Information Security or Data Protection roles.
- Proven expertise in DLP policy design and deployment within enterprise environments (Microsoft Purview preferred).
- Hands-on experience creating and managing custom classifiers and sensitive information types.
- Strong understanding of incident management workflows and integration with SIEM or SOC operations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) and their impact on DLP strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for endpoint, network, and cloud-based DLP controls.
- Spanish and English fluency, with the ability to communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
